What Other Teens Go Through
Teenagers nowadays are now carrying the burden and problems that adults usually deal with. Teens have become more matured this generation because of the many issues and challenges that they encounter as they grow up. Teenagers who live ‘by the book’ rarely encounter these but for those who have somehow strayed away, they encounter issues like these.
Teenage Pregnancy - Many have seen reality TV shows that feature young mothers and how they are now living their lives with their kid or kids. These days, more and more are girls are getting pregnant from ages nineteen and below. Getting pregnant will not only rob the teenagers of their youth, but consequences will have to be taken such as taking a break from school. Some teenagers even have conflicts with their parents and most of them have to mature at an early age. Young moms have to deal with their child alone, without the support of the father or the family at times.
Fixation - Teens are getting too involved in different substance abuse issues these days. They have become independent on these substances and cannot go through their day without taking one or two of their addiction. Even if they find alternatives like south beach smoke e-cigarettes for smoking, it will still be an addiction and they wouldn’t function without it.
Violence - School bullies are growing rampant in many schools these days. According to research, school bullies often have a background of abuse in their homes. As a result, they lash out their emotions like anger towards their classmates or schoolmates. Apart from bullies, those being bullied tend to have lower self esteem and are often traumatized.
Eating disorders - Anorexia and bulimia are common among teenage girls. This is a period in their lives wherein they become too self-conscious of their looks. Peer pressure also takes over where teens who are on the heavier side become anorexic or bulimic. Because of their desperation to be a part of a group or to be able to follow the trend of sexy teens, they result to these eating disorders.
As young as they are, teenagers have so many on their shoulders. Issues like these are usually common among adults but with the liberation and the mindset of teens these days, they have to encounter situations like these at such a young age. Getting pregnant, getting addicted to south beach smoke e-cigs are just some of the issues that teens face. There are so many others and there are still more to come.
