How on earth does Mario Kart make someone think about going on a luxury cruise?
There are a couple of computer games that I have played recently that have led me to seriously think about going on one of those brilliant luxury cruises I have heard so much about.
Cruise Ship Tyccon
This game actually put the idea into my head so blame this one for this blog on cruise ships. The major purpose of this game is to show you how to run a cruise ship. This game is great as you can explore the ship from any angle you wan't. This is great as the in game ships are all based on real ships which make is perfect for me as I can see exactly what there is to do on a ship without even having to do much research. In this game you get to look after the ship from a managers prosepective which if you are going on a holiday you really don't care about however I found it to be very interesting as you get to go to places in the ship you normally wouldn't be allowed in.
Splinter Cell Double Agent is next on the list
This one is a bit random as the whole point of the mission is to plant a bomb in the ship but not to worry it is for the purpose of killing terrorists. The strange thing is that when you are actually playing the game the graphics of it are really quite good so it does give you a better insight to the cruise ships without even having to go and look at one. This level is great as you are not restricted on where you can go on the ship so you can fully explore and see the detail that went into the game as again it was based on a real luxury cruise ship.
Mario Kart double dash is the weird one on the list
This is rather crazy I know but there is a level in the game that you get to drive around on a luxury cruise ship and no it doesn't matter that it is Princess Daisy's ship and not a real thing it still shows how big one of these ships are? Well yea if there aren’t any people onboard and there certainly wasn’t in this game.
So there you have it and it gets even better as I am actually going to book a holiday with Regent Cruises today so all I can say is thank you gaming!
