Warm Heart, Hot Cocoa
In winter it can be difficult to keep a warm disposition. The weather is frigid, our bodies get stiff, and we do not have the sun on our skin to keep us feeling peppy and active. When the weather outside is cold and icy, we rely on one drink to warm us from the inside out : hot cocoa. We will be able to always rely on chocolate to help us brighten up. In winter, what is more comforting than a delicious, steaming cup of the very best liquid dark chocolate? Who can resist a sweet, warm, frothy hot chocolate on a frigid winter day?
Lots of us reach straight towards the pre-packaged hot cocoa, but what if you could use the absolute best chocolate to make your own calming cup of hot chocolate? The next time you are snowed in with your acquaintances and family, why not prepare them a drink which will show how much warmth you're feeling for them? All you need is a frying pan, your favorite artisan chocolate squares ( either unsweetened or semi-sweet ), sugar, and milk. How far easier is it able to get?
Begin by breaking up 2 squares of your chocolate. Then place the pieces in a pan along with 0.33 cup of sugar and two cups of milk. Stir steadily as your stir over gentle heat. When the mix comes to a boil, add 2 more cups of milk and continue to stir, leaving the heat on medium. Take away the pan from the heat before the hot chocolate comes to a second boil and act to your family right away! For extra fun, add whipped cream or marshmallows to your glass. Perhaps even put some colourful splatters on top to brighten up the tired winter day.
Imagine how much fun you'll have filling your home with the delicious hint of liquefying chocolate! If your buddies and family have food allergies or other dietary limitations, then you can simply swap ingredients. Soy, almond, or hemp milk are smashing and savoury substitutions for dairy milk. For the calorie-conscious, utilize a non-calorie sweetener in the place of sugar.
Whatever the preferences of your friends and family, you can show them you care by tailor-making a cup of hot cocoa solely for them. Warm company and savory warm cocoa are the perfect match to keep your snug in the cold weather.
