Little faces haunt this graphic artist as she works in her office at home. While she was at home, much of her time was spent on work she didn't particularly find enjoyable. She left fliers in local veterinarian offices last summer to market her pet portraits. In addition to photos of the animal, she also requests that clients describe the animal to her. Once she understands the animal, she will decide what colors to use. There is something that the customers find in the portraits, a store owner said.
A certain person caught the energetic personality she exhibits using bright yellow hues. A person who owns an art gallery said portraits have more appeal if people know who the subjects are. Looking at a portrait is not the same as appreciating its artistry.
