Jacko Confirmed to be on Prescription Drug Cocktail at Time of Death
June 25, 2009 the day that the world lost the King of Pop Michael Jackson. From the moment that the news broke out that Jackson was dead many speculated on the cause of his death, it was well known that Michael was on several different drugs but the extent was only known to those closest to the King of Pop.
The results of the first autopsy done by the LA County Coroner’s Office found that there were prescription drugs present in his system but could not tell which ones until the Toxicology report would come out. However it was found that no foul play was involved in the superstar’s demise.
The results of the first autopsy caused the Jackson family to call for a second autopsy to be done by a private coroner’s office. The results of which were disturbing. It was found that the insides of Jackson’s stomach contained no food, only partially digested pills and his body was riddled with injection sites. The toxicology report showed that MJ was on several drugs at the time of his death which includes: a muscle relaxant Soma, sedative Xanax, anti-depressant Zoloft, Paxil for anxiety and the heartburn pill Prilosec. With the potential Paxil Birth Defects and the other drugs he was taking it was a miracle that he could even perform.
What many experts are speculating about is the part thatJackson’s doctor at the time, Dr. Conrad Murray played in the events leading to the superstar’s death. Results in the two autopsy reports show that Jackson was given injects to his heart, and both say 3 were successfully injected while one missed and hit the rib cage area. Experts expressed amazement that a trained cardiologist could have made such an error which could have saved the entertainer’s life. Currently Dr. Murray is on trail for involuntary manslaughter for his role in the events that lead to Jackson’s death.
Love him or hate him you can not deny that Michael Jackson was a one of a kind singer, dancer and overall entertainer. The death of Michael Jackson is best summed up by the song Usher sang during the funeral “Born to amuse, to inspire, to delight, here one day, gone one night, like a sunset, dying with the rising of the moon, Gone too soon.”

The Best of Carly Simon $3.00 Almost any way you look at it, the Carly Simon of the '70s was pretty cool. Her acerbic wit and nasally expressive voice had people comparing her to Carole King, but there was also a weary androgyny to her that wouldn't be seen again until the arrival of Chrissy Hynde. Her songs rocked without quite being rock songs, and were folk-evocative without falling into the singer-songwriter bins. She scor... |
