Ceiling Insulation Is A Handy Innovation
Whenever I notice a photo of candy floss pink ceiling insulation fresh from the manufacturer it reminds me of American author Laura Ingalls Wilder’s account of awakening one morning to discover a layer of snowfall covering the bed she and her sister shared. Snow had filtered via cracks in the roofing during the night and had not dissolved because the temperature inside the tiny prairie home was so frigid. Still, I have never ceased to be surprised at the struggles Laura’s family were required to withstand before modern conveniences like ceiling insulation were invented. Thankfully, today’s insulated ceilings could not be farther from little Laura’s ordeals.

Conserves energy
Ceiling insulation prevents heat from dissipating through the roof meaning that you will save on heating bills. On the other hand, it will help cool your house in summer. Ceiling insulation also doesn't contain asbestos which is another point in its favor from a medical perspective and it can prevent mould from growing inside your home because it absorbs moisture from showers and cooking while simultaneously preventing humidity and moisture from outside from entering the home.
