Want to know the top 20 sports in America?
Now i know you probably won't disagree with the top 5 of these, but what would you do about the rest?
- American Football - This may be the obvious one but its true.
- Baseball - Considered by many Americans to be the biggest sport.
- Basketball - Without a doubt this sport should be at this position, if not higher.
- Hockey - Originally this isn't an American sport, it is however a massive sport in America.
- Golf - Really let go for everyone, many thanks to Tiger Woods for making Golf even more famous.
- Wrestling - has a massive following, people have become obsessed with this.
- Tennis - This is considered by some to be very boring, but this has wormed it's way into the hearts of many Americans.
- Skateboarding - Definitely one of the fastest growing sports in the world, with the help of America.
- Surfing - Enjoyed by all around the world, but made great by America.
- Ice Skating - Many famous names have come out of this sport including; Jennifer Kirk - stunning.
- Boxing – This has become one of the most money spinning sports in America, but famous in Britain as well.
- Soccer - Slowly becoming a big sport, with names like David Beckham coming in.
- Archery - you cannot deny this a position in the table, in the Olympics the Americans rule.
- Volleyball – This was definitely going to be in here somewhere, what a great event, to take part in and watch.
- Cycling - Has been in the sport world for a while now, and has taken off, but not as much as others.
- Track and Field - There is no question really that the Americans are best known for these events when it comes to the Olympics.
- Horse Racing - A huge sport, but is it really bigger than others.
- Rock Climbing – This has gone world wide since the film Mission impossible along with various stunts by Alain Robert.
- Extreme Sports - This is basically anything that is not normally done.
- Auto Racing - This should come high, but doesn't because of the category, Monster Truck and Rally are very high though.
